Optional AI-powered fixes use your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key: Fix Everything, bulk fixes, rewrite suggestions, citation simulator, FAQ generator with schema, and Tracked Prompts that monitor whether real AI engines cite your site. Citence never alters your original sentences except the opening paragraph when you explicitly request a rewrite, and internal links only point to real pages on your site.

Do the core audits require an AI API key?
No. All seven core checks run 100% locally against your site content — zero AI calls, zero cost, and no data leaves your server. AI-powered fixes are optional and use your own OpenAI or Anthropic key.
Will Citence rewrite my entire article?
No. Citence follows strict fix guarantees: headings wrap unmodified paragraphs, only the opening paragraph can be rewritten (on explicit click), and outbound or internal links are appended — never woven into existing sentences. Internal links only point to real pages on your site.
Does Citence work with WooCommerce?
Yes. WooCommerce products are audited alongside posts and pages. Citence recognizes WooCommerce Product schema instead of incorrectly flagging it as missing.
Is Citence a subscription?
No. Licenses are one-time — Starter $39 (1 site), Pro $59 (3 sites), or Agency $99 (10 sites) — with lifetime updates.
Each license grants use on the number of WordPress sites listed in your plan. Redistribution, resale, or sharing license keys is not permitted unless your tier explicitly allows agency/client use.
